Mackenna Swann

Mackenna Swann

Mackenna Swann discovered her passion for singing and songwriting at a young age, but her journey took a challenging turn when, at age eleven, she was diagnosed with a rare bone condition and told she might never walk again. After undergoing three knee surgeries and spending years in a wheelchair, Mackenna found solace in music, using it as a way to cope with her physical pain and vulnerability. Once she regained the ability to walk, she committed to sharing her music with the world, attending Belmont University in 2018 to pursue songwriting and performing in Nashville. Mackenna has opened for Kelly Clarkson, raised funds for children’s healthcare, and released several singles, including “Something Good,” inspired by her health journey. She has also collaborated with the Christian music community and leads worship at The Church at Woodbine, continuing to share her talents and inspire others despite her physical challenges.
