SKEMA BOY
Skema Boy is an independent Christian hip-hop artist marked by surrender and calling. Raised in Guilford, CT, and now based in Orange County, he spent years making secular music while working a full-time job—pouring everything into a vision he thought was his. Everything changed in 2021. In a quiet moment in his bedroom, the Holy Spirit confronted him and called him to lay his gift at the feet of Jesus. From that encounter on, his music wasn’t for the world anymore—it was for the Kingdom. In a culture competing for ears and influence, Skema Boy is determined to point listeners toward Jesus. For him, worship isn’t a genre—it’s a posture. That’s why he declares, “This ain’t rap, this is worship.” His sound blends Christian hip-hop with bold, anthemic energy, exploring themes of freedom, redemption, and grace. With hundreds of thousands of monthly listeners and tens of millions of streams, he’s released fan favorites like “God’s Army,” “Wristwatch,” and “Blimp.” In October 2025, after years of balancing a calling with a day job, he heard the Lord tell him to step into music full time. He quit in obedience—trusting God alone to open the next door. Days later, he woke up to a message from Brandon Lake inviting him to collaborate. Their single “No Idols” led to Skema Boy joining the King of Hearts fall tour, confirming in real time that God’s timing is perfect. Today, Skema Boy creates with one mission: lift high the name of Jesus and ignite revival through hip-hop.
